We can send an experienced and fully qualified (Diploma of Practice Management) Practice Manager into your Practice on a needs basis. You may need someone for half a day per week, 2 days per week or even 1 day per month. Whatever you need, we can service.

Our Practice Manager will take care of issues specific to your Practice such as staff management, pay issues, outstanding accounts, record maintenance etc The Practice Manager will spend a day with your Practice to learn about your Practice and determine what issues need to be dealt with. She will then attend the Practice on an on-going basis whenever needed.

If you hired your own Practice Manager as an employee on your staff you would have to contend with the following headaches:

  • You would be responsible for Hiring & Firing them
  • Leave Entitlement such as Superannuation, Sick Pay and Holiday Pay etc
  • You may have to address performance issues if they are not performing up to scratch

Roles and responsibilities of our Practice Managers include:

  • Development of training and practice procedure manuals
  • Employment and training of new staff
  • Counseling staff regarding conflicts, appraisals, personal and work related issues
  • Payment of staff wages, superannuation  
  • Assist in conflict resolution including patients and/or staff
  • Assessment of employment needs and staffing levels
  • Construct and maintain staff rosters
  • Implement new protocol/legislation ie. Privacy Act, OH&S, Medic-legal issues
  • Filing and accurate record keeping of patient information
  • Actioning correspondence and non technical queries via fax, e-mail and post
  • Management of Petty Cash
  • Ordering of company stationery
  • Preparation of period statements for each doctor
  • Construction of monthly sales analysis for each doctor
  • Construct monthly facility fees for partners and associates
  • Management of appointment books
  • Manage patient debt collection
  • Oversee efficient running of computers and associated equipment
  • Coordination of practice marketing via mail outs  
  • Liaise with doctors regarding queries/complaints/suggestions
  • Manage fees charged for all items & invoicing 
  • Billing for operations & medico-legal reports
  • Welcoming patients and arriving patients  
  • Attending to patient enquiries via phone and in person
  • Preparation of monies received for banking for each doctor
  • Total and lodge Medicare and DVA vouchers on a monthly basis
